Hunting in New York

siz

New member
So i live in upstate New York and i was curious if anyone else does, if so maybe meet up and go on a hunt together when i get a little bit more practice, or maybe could give me some good areas to go to around here, not a long post this time just the quick question, thanks in advance for anyone who replies.

p.s. even if you don't live in around here but have been here on hunts and remember where you went, that would help me as well, thanks a lot

sincerely,
max

Hey Max. I see in one of your post that you were interested in an ACE 250. I have an extra one that is nearly new, for a reasonable price. If you are interested. roceda43@hotmail.com

i am extremely interested, the only problem is money is super tight and i don't have anything to spend, it really sucks but hopefully i'll find a better paying job and be able to save some money and buy myself one, and if you still have yours i'll definitely take you up on the offer

I live in the Ithaca area in up-stste ny. I don't get out to hunt as much as I used to. Been very busy with work this year.

i envy you oakman404 i wish i was busy with work, right now i have to much time on my hands and no money, i live in dutchess county

I live in Tompkins county and I hunt mostly parks and schools and sportsfields. Some parks only allow it during certain times of the year and require a permit and others don't have a rules. Get plenty of practice pinpointing and target recovery before you hit any public property tho. But, like I said I have'nt been out much this year as I have been very busy at the hospital I work at. Sorry to hear your not having much luck in the work department I hope things pick up for you. If you ever head my way let me know, maybe we can set up a hunt!:garrett:

oakman404 thanks for the advice, and idk when I'm going to be around you as you are about 3 1/2 hours away from me, but maybe one day we can meet up and do like a weekend hunt or something of that sort, I'm always open to meeting up with someone and sharing the experience and also possibly making a new friend, so far i still have no one who owns a detector but my friend said he would come along for the ride anyway. thanks again for the input
