HUNTING IN CUBA

Tired of snow and cold.Going to Cuba next week and wondering if im allowed to take my metal detector and use it on the beaches.HH.John.

Oooh I'd be careful. Just about everything is controlled by the government. I went there a few years ago and it was a fantastic cultural experience. I'd definitely go back. However i've never thought about metal detecting over there....

It might sound funny but it wouldn't hurt to contact the embassy to get some kind of an idea...

The whole place oozes of history. Santiago de Cuba for example was founded in the early 1500's. Also lots of touristy spots like Varadero (popular beach destination)

If you do go detecting there please post lots and lots of pics!

Cheers
