Hunting Downtown

Hunting downtown around any large city has it's challenges and rewards. I took my new AT Pro to a large pounded site near downtown Where I live and it was a mixed bag of broken bottles, bottle tops and large iron. But since this area goes back to the 1820's you never know what you will find. So after my fair share of trash and Lincolns I dig a weird signal.Turns out to be a black encrusted coin. After cleaning it I find it to be a 1945 "P" war nickel. I also find an old tent grommet, decrative clip off something, UMC black club headstamp and best of all a old police button from days gone by. All in all a very fun day.

Very cool...is that the side of a pen knife you think? Or is it too small...lookat that little button will you! Thats a nice tiny find there! :clapping: Good work!
