Hunting at the fishing pier

Back to the beach to learn the ATP better there. Had some confusion about chatter so I started at the mouth of the San Bernard river and the Gulf. Very little chatter and very little to find. Moved to another spot same thing. Hit the fishing pier at Quintana, a little more chatter and a lot more targets. Dug mid tones with a 50 to 70 on the vdi and this is what I dug. Wet sand and surf all of them.

Cool I gotta take mine to the beach. Sooner or later the good targets will arrive . Interesting finds happy hunting.

The last time I went to the river, there were about a dozen boats fishing for white perch, while I was dirt fishing. Wonder if I could trade some lead weights for some white perch? I promised the ones I already found to my pastor, but maybe I can make a trade. Who knows. Must be some strong current using those large weights.

good way to fill your tackle box[nice fishing finds

The pier is on the Gulf of Mexico. The surf moves stuff easily so heavy weights to hold your bait in place is needed.

I found another, older looking weight in the middle of a park yesterday about 4 inches down. There was shell with it. I think the shell was used as a parking lot material and the weight was scooped up with it.
