Hunting at night

How do you guys/gals hunt at night with those smelly guys out there? Tonight I was on my deck and saw one in the yard next to ours. I got my camera and went out to take a pic of him, OH CRAP, there was one about eight feet to the side of me that I didn't see. He didn't spray, he was too busy looking for grubs. NOPE! NO MD FOR ME.

Yup...You have to look out for those critters....Also deer are VERY curious critters, and if they hear your detector threshold or it's tones, they want to know what it is... I just shine my headlight in their eyes and they usually back off...Mostlt Does I see anyways....You learn to develope a sixth sense...

Here kitty kitty...nice kitty..OH CRAP!!!!
That skunk looks like a young one....They usually give you plenty of warning before they spray (unless you REALLy spook em hard)...They do a dance (stomp front paws), then they turn around and do a handstand almost, then the tail comes up, and it is fire and forget....

I figger if you got Red Green as your hero, a skunk should be a minor problem.........
