Hunting an old Farm House

Went door knocking today to get on some fresh ground. First 3 houses, no one was home, but the 4th house gave me to all clear to do some hunting. This particular house was about 150 years old, so I had visions of seated coins, barbers, SLQs, etc...

Decided to leave the Etrac in the car and only use the CTX. I was running a trashy park pattern mostly. Ended up finding 20 wheat pennies, a medallion, 1890 IH, and a '63 Rosie. Funny thing is I only got 3 memorials, no modern clad whatsoever. I seems like someone else had been there before and went cherry pickin and ignored all the penny signals. Since I am fairly new to the CTX, I was only digging solid 2 way signals that would repeat at 90 degrees.

The medallion I found was from 1940 and was commerative of the Pa Tunpike. When I showed it to the landlord, it brought back lots of memories for him, so I gave it to him for letting me hunt there.

Enjoy...

***UPDATE***

As suspected, after a night of tumbling, two of those super cruddy, mega dirty, uber nasty wheat pennies...turned into IHs!!!!!

A 3 IH hunt is a first for me and the 18 Wheaties is still a personal best!!
