Today I past 2 more goals I set for myself, I found more than a dollar, and more than $1.50 in a single hunt. I have small goals that I set for myself. Even though I already found a gold ring.
These are my finds:

All are modern day coinage, the oldest one is a dime form 1969.

2 quarters
9 dimes
1 nickel
10 mem. pennies

$1.55 total

1 button
1 part of a key chain
4 pop tabs

I just looked at my tally sheet and I noticed that I just hit 50 coins found this year!!!!!

maybe after that performance it IS time to give a damn!

Hey Treasure,
Good finds, but you're not showing erasers or foil????

Are you digging those?

ANYTHING under the sun can show up in a school yard.
I don't think there's a better place, over time.

nah, I am hunting in coin mode, with 2 bars on the sensitivity, as the ground is not totally thawed, I can only go down 2 to 3 inches

I've been working a local high school here when there's no where else to hunt, and although it's loaded with trash, the coin count is high. I dig all foil, tabs, and errasers in hopes that one of them will be a nice piece of gold or silver jewelry...so far nothing like that, although I did find one tiny chain, that *might* be silver, but it's not marked, so more likely nickel or junk.
