Hunting a private yard tomorrow

I hope you find silver in the yard. Remember, lots of roofing nails and junk close to the house.

Well my first few hours in the yard weren't a complete bust. I did manage to pull a few wheat cents along with a Canadian cent all from the 1940s along with a few clad. Not sure what the cow skull is all about, hope I didn't disturb some ancient burial site.:rolleyes:

In case anyone is interested the galvanized nail deserves a mention because it was first out of the hole were one of the wheat cents was found. These two in the same location/hole indicated a pull tab on the VDI.

The home was built in the early 1900s and the property covers close to an acre so the potential for finding silver is definitely there. The owner
