worked two hours today then it was off MD'ing. Went back where i found the silver dime the other day, but no silver today. Just three dimes 5 pennies, some kind of gold shiny bolt. looks like it might go to a brass instrument. rang up 64 on my F2. Bugs were just flying everywhere so put it way and headed home. Is it wrong to be disappointed not finding silver again now that i have finally found silver ?

I find a piece of silver on the rare occasion. I always get a little excited when I see that shine in the dirt. Any day that I get a good bunch of Clad is a good day and the days that I do find silver are OUTSTANDING Days. Nothing wrong with being a little disappointed from time to time.

If finding silver was that easy everyone would be doing it.

A good day detecting is getting out in the open, with a friend if you can.
Hunting and finding anything, whether it is valuable or not. Some of my best
Finds are the simplest things. If I strike silver once month i'm really shocked and
Happy. I like finding tokens, wheat penny's, relics, old dog tags, anything out of the
Ordinary.

The most fun is the research, planning, anticipation, friendships, and sharing life with
Nature and the past.
