Huntin' with Robbie

A couple of morning showers tried to ruin a perfectly good weekend to go hunting coins, and geodes, but it just dampened our desire for a few hours, otherwise a great time was had by all, I'm sure of that. Robbie took us hunting in places where he has already found all of the good stuff........ you have to watch this guy if he asks you to go hunting with him..... a fox he is. Why would he take us somewhere to find the good stuff that he can later hunt and find for himself...............................

In all seriousness though, a lot of clad and some jewelry was found, but no silver on this trip. There will be another. We got to walk the creek that runs through the park where we went camping and collected a few geodes this morning before we left for home. Daryl and Starr picked up quit a few in their bucket too and I'm sure they will add their pictures of the weekend together as well.

Thanks for the hospitality, good times and memories Robbie. We are glad we got to meet Lesa too.

A Fox??? It's more like a SKUNK. After the she-lack'n you guy's handed I now bow down before you. :please: I am glad that everybody had a good time. That was my first priority. I'm already looking forward to our next hunt. Going to shoot for the big club hunt is everything is going well with Lesa. Once again I had an absolutely great time. If anybody else wants to come over and hunt there is an open invitation to PATH members. Just try and make sure it's not raining.

Well looks like you did have a good time.True explorers.Very good pics, too.

We had a BLAST! Thank you Robbie for your hospitality. You went way beyond what we expected. Star, Daryl and both of us had a great time and also loved the geode hunt. We want to do that again. Give Lesa a good hug for us and hope to see you guys soon. Maybe next time I'll be able to swing the coil too. Thank you and HH, Nancy

Daryl and I had a great time. The rain may have tried to put a damper on things, but it didn't last long. It was off and hunting as soon as the rain quit. I may not have found as much as the guys, but didn't hunt as much.
Thanks a bunch for your hospitality Robbie. Looking forward to coming back, if only for just the day. It was great meeting Robbie and Lesa.

What a great weekend metal detecting and Geode hunting.

Great friends, great hunting, and two new friends. Don't get no better than that.

I could have spent a whole day down by the creek, walking the creek beds. We saved a few for you to find Mike. It was a beautiful morning before the rains came. HH, Nancy

WOW, i find a local MD club and one of the people is a Geode hunter. I have been calling down to the Keokuk area trying to find some information about getting down there this weekend with my family and another couple. Is Sheffield's or anywhere open?
