Meet up with Tony again today and hunted a well hunted spot.

I have to say it's a delight to meet up with someone who is knowledgeable and who is willing to share his knowledge and just a sure joy to hunt with.

Thanks Tony

Anyway I got 3 wheats in the 50s , a 44 war nickel and a very cool 1920s Walter Johnson Baseball Game Token.

I've been at this for going on 7 years and have found many nickels...buffalos,v nickels, modern Jeffersons...even 2 shield nickels and an 1865 3 cent nickel! I've only ever found 1 (yes..ONE!) war nickel. It rang up as a regular modern nickel. Are you guys finding different readings on war nickels?

I found another one tonight (1945P) and it rang up 12-18 while using the X-5.
