Went to a known deep coin spot of mine. There isn't much trash there so I figured I'd dig every solid signal above iron in the hopes of a gold ring. No such luck, but I did get an old square aluminum token with writing on it. I was able to run the GT and 12x10 at full blast sensitivity and the threshold was only a little unstable. Was nice to get out even though I didn't get anything other than that token. Years ago I dug these tokens in this spot, so it was nice to see one make an appearance again.

i have 2 zinclons to show for yesterday and todays hunts..... my sov-gt and excal have ruined my favorite sites--slim pickens...

Critter,I enjoy any time out for a hunt.At least you got a token.Last time I got gas it was 4.15 for regular and that's eliminating some of my parks.I watched Diggers the other day Rick Savage in Alaska and Detroit.Yes I do think its scripted for TV.There is a good point though the show makes,which for big targets its virgin hunting at most sites.This has given me a different prospective on searching especially in the woods.HH Ron
