Got out for a few hours today and hit an old park which has produced some of my best coin finds in the past, but where finds are really thin at this point. I hunted with a few friends; it was nice to be in good company, but as usual, the good finds were hard to come by. A Merc and a few of wheaties were dug by one of my partners; I managed a '52 wheat, two "V" nickels (1902 and 1906), a 1-mil tax token, and an old copper ring (which was probably plated at one time). I was glad to bring home a few more keepers from this park, glad to hunt with some good friends, and glad the weather held up long enough for us to get a few good hours in!

Always more fun hunting with friends. We are seeing temps in the 50's and 60's finally .. hopefully it's here to stay !
A two V nickle day is good in my book. That's my best also with two in one day. HH.
