Hunted out lot

New member
Well I took the 10 X 14 Excelerator out for about an hour in a lot that I have hunted a dozen times, I have this lot next door to my house that I have hunted with the 6 X 10 DD and the 4.5 X 7 EXcelerator have cleaned every thing out of it down to about 9 inches. Would have bet there was nothing left to find, the ground was wet from the rain storms we had yesterday so it was easy digging and I have only covered about a third of the yard and found 15 pennies, 2 dimes, 2 nickles, and a bunch of junk all at around 10 to 12 inches. I can't wait to take it to a site that I am sure will produce some older deep coins. I really did not pay any attention to the VDI # but just dug every good signal, I past up some faint signals that I will investigate after I give the yard a fast once over. I was amassed with the depth of the 10 X 14 coil, will try to finish the yard tomorrow.:detecting::thumbup:

More power to you Bob. That's great that you found more items in your cleaned out lot. Surprising how things tend to pop up. Same thing happened to me when using the 10" coil on the old rental property. Good hearing about the experience. Hey, If you've got the strength to dig that deep, you're going to get some real old items, if not China. Thanks for the good story and taking time for posting the pics. I love them. HH to all, Nancy

I used my trusty Lesche shovel it has a 11" blade makes digging allot easier, and makes a great plug

Yep, you could dig to China and back with that thing! Looks too big for me. Besides, it wouldn't fit in my pocket. :detecting: That's one nice size digger! If Larry sees that, he'll want one too. DON'T LOOK LARRY!!!!!! HH and good luck diggin', Nancy

Its only 31" long the blade is 5 1/4" X 11" and made out of lite weight aircraft steal

I might have to get me one of those shovels for my field hunting. Unless the ground is super hard I use the same Treasurewise trowel and rounded tip screwdriver I use digging in lawns. Don't you hate digging that really deep clad? There should be a law that if you dig over 8in a silver or gold coin will be waiting for you.LOL

I was hoping there would be, but that's all I found. I am going to hunt it again today. I usually use my small hand Lesche digger I can carry it in my pouch. but since no one complains about this property and I keep it mowed I used the shovel. I do use the shovel allot when I field hunt for relics.:crazy: But your right, and I thought it was, when you dig over 6" it better be gold or silver
