Hunted Old School Site Today!

One of the old timers told me about an old school which had been torn down in the 60s. I went over there and found part of the foundation still present. One side was particularly rich in older coins. I found 18 wheats, a US military button, a James Buchanan commemorative, and three silver coins (40s merc, 1948D Washington, and a 47D Rosie). The school was near a beach so the coins including the silvers were dull and corroded. Also got 0.55 in clad.

I love old schools  nice finds Mike.

Takes Larry back to a time of when he did homework on granite tablets.

Great job. I wish we had some old school around here.
