Hunted a lake again on 05/16 and found this very nice crucifix, which was black, I guess from being in fresh water? Tarnex did the cleanin' and some of Gulf Huntress' elbow grease. Also found $.26 Good targets were scarce. There is an unbelievable amount of ferrous junk in lakes, nails and junk. It is a workout. The cross was found about neck deep. No .925 stamp, but my jeweler believes it to be silver.
