hunted an old, old beach this morning and found some old, old coins

Found these coins in low tide mud this morning ......all were about 9" deep. One was under a rock.

Got all but the Barber dime cleaned so far.....the dime's encrustation is very hard..will take a while to get it off.

There's not much left to these coins due to salt water damage , but it is fun to find them in any condition...a bit of History

thanks for looking

Great old finds there!!! Yes I can see where the salt water does a lot of damage. I was in a fresh water lake just recently that also destroys silver. On of my mercs has a hole in in it and breaking off the black corosion broke two of my mercs. Very unfortunate but at least they are silver!! Nice.
