I went to one of my local parks that use to have a beach back in the 1920's and closed in the late 70's. They recently dug the old beach area up and made it a "sanctuary" for wildlife and re-used the old sand that was in the lake and beach. The 1900 Liberty V nickel gave a nice smooth mid-tone / 143 on the meter. Then I found a button / token of some sort. (I'll ask over on the whatzit forum ) One thing I will say is this token / button gave a nice tone and registered 163 on the meter. I usually find pulltabs at this range but the smooth tone told me it was something different and not a harsh / raspy pulltab. I also found a 1955 wheatie, one so badly corroded I can't even tell and a religious medal that rang in at 175 and one slice of silver. I also never thought I would be getting bit by skeeters at this time of the year but it is happening. Strange weather for sure but I'll take it! Thanks for looking. - Jim
