Hunted An Area With The ACE 300i, The Went Over It Again With The ACE 400i:blink:

Now that I have put on a substantial number of hours on the ACE 300i, I went over the same spot with the ACE 400i today, I managed another 27 coins, including a nice 2 dollar coin. I don't know how I missed it the first time with the ACE 300i. So, in summary.....the ACE 400i gets a little more depth, has a little bit better ID capabilities and bangs real hard on quarters compared to the ACE 300i. They both are excellent coin machines, and really perform well with Canadian clad as well as the several US dimes and quarters I dug up.

Below are my finds from the last couple of hunts.

the standard coils supplied on the units?? The 400 comes with the DD and you like using the concentric on the 300.. This may explain the added inches... is this a possibility??

I used the concentric coil , 7" x 10" on both. Sensitivity was at near 100% (less 1 bar). Good batteries too.
