The days are getting much shorter, with the sun setting around 7pm. There is frost in the mornings on the car windows, a reminder of old man winter. I had to work the weekend, but Still got out after work and got a surprising number of coins, a ring, a nice large silver cross and a dolphin which is actually a locket. When opened, it has a small compartment for something very tiny.

Great to be out hunting.! :)

Good clad count !

I am wondering if the Dolphin actually is a drug symbol for young youth, as I am finding more and more jewelry with Dolphins lately on School Grounds...???
That AT Pro is doing you good John...I have only been out a handfull of times with mine, and nothing really good yet...Probably will not get to hit the water till Springtime, unless I want to brave the cold...

HH,

WTG John. Those are some interesting finds. I watched the video about hunting in sea and surf by mr. garrett and he found a sea shell pipe and it was interesting to say the least. Wonder what the dolphin carried. In the video I mentioned someone found a microfilm ring in the surf, also. That's what is so great about this hobby, you never know what's going to sound off under your coil. HH

Micro film ring...wonder if that washed ashore during WWI or WWII from some German U-Boat or something???
Items like that make ya wonder...
