Hunted a new old yard today.....

Started a new old yard today. Hunted two hours. First coins was a 1944D silver war nickel. Got 5 wheats 11, 14, 17, 20, 27. The only clad was a 65 quarter.

Some odds and ends including 3 different old shot gun shells.

Looks like you found where the old clothesline was perhaps? I love old yards! Thanks for sharing Mike!
 
Yeah...thanks for sharing your really neat finds. I love finding things that remind me of my hobbies of years gone by.
 
I always like finding those nickels . I remember the first one I found I thought what is wrong with it, it ain't purple.
 
Nice finds Mike, to bad the 1914 dosn't have a D. Maybe next time. :beers:
