man this place was cleaned out, I tried real hard to find some gold
look at this trash! I dug everything, and It took me 3 hours to find this much stuff, this school must be heavily hunted, there is times I could go 20-30 feet without a single beep

I got one junk bracelet, a lil clad and one 1918 wheat that was missed by other people because it was a horrible signal there was iron in the hole and it only hit from one direction. I honestly don't think I have ever hunted a site was that this clean of signals. I ran sensitivity as high as I could, trying to get a deep coin, but it was not to be. If gold was there, I did not find any....lol

Looks like a good hunt took out some trash and had a few good finds congrats. Howard

I got to say, thats not very much trash for a 3 hr hunt. I would say that it has been picked over.

I don't have much luck finding gold or older coins at a H.S I have alot better luck at Elementary and middle schools.

Schoolyards and old Church yards if on a main road indeed have been hunted hard...Usually if still in use some clad and an occasional piece of jewelry....Remember they don't get it all as late last fall hunted one such area which once was an amusement park and even though hundreds of coils have been swung over the area got lucky with a 1897 Barber Half...

Nice finds to me! Where are you that you can detect schoolyards. Here in Louisiana they all have big chainlink fences around them. Wouldn't dare try to go near one would probably be suspected of being a predator or something. Its a far cry from the old days here.
