Was able to get my buddy out this morning on a hunt.

We got to laughing so hard as this one home we stopped at had two doors within feet of each other at a 45 degree angle.
I told him OK "If they come to the door and by chance I don't get us permission. Once they close the door you knock on the other one and give it a go"
It was just so funny of thinking about the scenario.
The owners where not home and we would never do something like that but, I am still chuckling about the fun we had today.

So then we hit a another new place and got permission.
It had obviously never been hunted before.

The finds where not breathtaking but, having some laughs with my friend was great.
The owner of this property had to be one of greatest guys I have ever met. It took him a Lil while to warm up but, once he did it was a blast.
Heck he even brought us both out Soda's to drink. Then he took us down the road to a neighbors and got us permission to hunt where a old log cabin used to be.
We will be going back for sure sometime. The older guy was a hoot.

Here are 2 of my dig photos ( the Merc and Buff.) from today along with a picture looking out from this mans property out onto the valley.

Thanks for checking out the post and I hope everyone has a great weekend.

Nice hunt Mike, no hunting for me this weekend. I did spend some time catfishing on the Missouri River though. Time well spent and a great change of pace. Nice digs. JJ
