hunt the beach balanced shaft or chestmount? any suggestions?

I currently hunt the water and beach with a balanced above shoulder mount excall.
I am wondering if there is any benefit to chest mounting. I have no issues hunting for 4 to 6 hrs non stop as it is. Just wandering if the coil will be harder to handle without the weight balancing it out?

i use the chest mount , much better for me than the shaft mounted, i can walk all day with my excal in or out of the water with no problems...i have no problems with coil in the water too..
chest mount works great for me..:clapping::detecting:

The chest or hip mount does act as a connector to the machine in the water and on the land in case you drop it out there. Also, putting down the machine for any reason on shore with a shaft mount you get a little head phone cable pull. Down side might be there is a lot of twisting and swinging of the cable that you dont get with a shaft mount. Down the line that could create a cable problem. I do like the pods behind the elbow, it may be a little heavier but its so balanced you dont notice it.
