I made it out early around 6:30. and got home at about 12:45.
I had to take a few breaks. Getting down to dig and hunting are taking a strain on me this year.I am really out of shape...I dug just 1 mood ring....but no silver or gold...today though I started digging with settings at 40 discrimination. I finished using discrimination at 80.
Quarters=18
dimes == 32
nickles=== 3
pennies===58 total value=$8.43

1 mood ring.
1 -.22 shell
I started with my battery on 1 bar and about 30 mineuts before I quit I put a new battery in. Just figured the battery had run long enough.
I hunted as long as I could for me...I need more endurance.
My fiberglass probe worked very well....the point did dull some but cut through the grass and dirt finding coins easily enough.

Those .22 shelss really drive me crazy. Ring up real hard and then blend in with the dirt and they're hard to find.

was kind of easy to find today....there was no grass in that spot...
