It was 65 degrees here on Saturday. Unfortunately, there is still over a foot of frost in the ground. But, it was improving! Then it dropped to 20s on Sunday with rain, sleet and it even snowed a couple inches. Temps last night hit single digits with wind chills well below zero. We got another 6 inches of snow over night, the wind is blowing 35 MPH and it is still snowing!!!! This has got to be one of the longest winters I've ever seen. I can't remember the last time I went one month without detecting. Let alone THREE! I know that Spring is just around the corner. But it seems we are traveling at a snail's pace. If I could get my hands on PunxsutawneyPhil right about now, I'd blindfold him and toss him back in his box! So called "seer of seers and prognosticator of prognosticators" HA! Just a pesky rodent, as far as I'm concerned! HH Randy

Sorry about that i guess i should post more so i can get the hang of this lol. What i typed was this.. I hear you randy spring is along time coming. But the robins are here (just one more sign of spring.) My wife has a new X-70 and want to get out and learn how it works. But the weather is not helping lol. So for now i have her reading the FAQFAQ and what little help i can give her lol she should be off and running when the weather breaks

Friday the 7th it was -2 degrees F with -20 windchills. Unloading freight at the airport was a real treat!! Just can hardly wait to hit some sites I've researched this winter. All research and no detecting makes for cabin fever BIG TIME!! Bob.
