Hunt before easter.:detecting:

I wrote to you on "another forum" and stated that because it is 18K, and because it has what appears to be a Jade stone, I think the ring is from Asia or India.

Either way, it is a very beautiful ring and very unique. I do think it is old.

That will make a nice Easter gift. Congratulations!

(Look for a post of what I found today - but much later!)

HH!

I thinking it is a Russian because the color and the mark ;
"The most valuable form of jade is known as imperial jade and comes from Myanmar, it is an emerald green color. Jades also appear in mottled green and white, and the rarer colors of yellow, pink, purple, and black. The range of greens are light to dark, creamy, grayish, and also white. A leek green variety called "Russian Jade" is found near Lake Baikal in Russia."
780 and have little star.

If you read the newsletter (which will be in your mailbox any day), you will see that we have "Rechants Precious Metals" coming to make a presentation about selling your gold and silver and coins. They may be able to give you an idea of the value and/or confirm what the stone is. Also, bring any coins you may want to have them look at. (Although the line gets long for these guys when they come to our club...everyone wants them to check out their gold and coins!)

You found a wonderful ring! :thumbup:
