hunt at the park today nets boy scout scarf thing

not sure what you call em but I found a boy scout scarf thing, some clad, old lock and who knows what the thing at the top is?

does anyone know anything about the boyscout scarf thing? It was about 3" down, no markings?

I think that is the cub scout version.

I think the scarf thing is for a weblo, if I remember correctly that is the highest rank a cub scout can obtain before he becomes a boy scout.

That's a WEBELO Scarf ring. WEBELOs are the next step after Cub Scouts on the way to Boy Scouts. All part of the Scout system though.
