today I went back to the old school that keeps giving up the goods every visit. Every hunt there this year has produced silver.

I took my camera because I just knew I would dig silver there, and I had 39 silver coins for the year and wanted to get #40 on video. My 40th silver coin for the year was a 1947 rosie, got 3 wheats all 1940's and also got silver #41 a 1936 merc dime

got $1.67 in clad as well. here is the vid..........

haha virgin ground u say? .....lol
I have talked to 4 guys now who have hunted that school hard and every single one said they found NO wheats, NO silver, NO indians.........
then I said "do you have a minelab"?

they ALL said "NO"...........hahaha :clapping:

so far from this school I have dug in 4 trips there

17 wheats
1 1891 indian
3 silver quarters
7 silver dimes (2 rosies, 5 mercs)

now u tell me why I found all that in a school yard that has been hunted so hard? was because my minelab, the 3khz coil??? who knows?

I give a LOT of credit to minelab, their machines in my opinion are just THAT good.

:minelab:it is. They did just that, hunted it hard, very obvious you are the better detector of the 5 buddy! They hunted and didn't dig. You the man! BTW did you ever count the item total for what you have dug this year? Has to be in the 1,000's. I get to go tomorrow after an almost 2 week hiatus:thumbup:

there are three reasons you are having success at that site, when others aren't........it's the X-Terra, the 3 kHz coil and your understanding of how to operate that combination. Obviously, a winning combination! Great job. Keep it up! And thanks for sharing the video. HH Randy

well Randy I try to be humble.....lol
but I do think Minelab can pull out old coins that others are walking right over!

Congrats on # 41 WTG......

You are a fabulous at hitting silver coins, good video. :)

Congrats on Silver #40 & #41. Nice video, enjoyed watching. Is the ground as dry as it appears to be? I agreee minelabs are great, love my minelab X-70 and its versatility.

Congrats on the great hunt! You are sure on a roll.

I am gonna have to get tme one of those 3KHZ coils now! Great work, Beale.

yes the ground is as dry as sand, see hoe loose that soil was! we have NOT had rain in about 2 months, except for short bursts that last maybe an hour, other than that we are dry dry dry!

You will be finding even more when you get some rain, you might have to get a Wheel barrow Ha Ha. I have found that damp ground seems to allow a little more depth and seems to make the sharp ring sound of coins even better. We were dry here back in March, April, and early May. Now that we are getting rain things are much better for detecting. Keep up the posts, you keep us inspired to find some silver and wheats.
