hum from Etrac

New member
I have just recently gotten an Etrac and have gone out 2 times. I notice a steady hum in the headset. Is this normal, or do I have a setting wrong that would cause this to happen? I appreciate any help.

yes it is normal, that is the thresh-hold.
you can make it quieter, but it is there for a reason.

you want to be able to just barely hear it. and when it goes silent, ("nulls") thats your discrimination working. its going silent to tell you its detected something you have discriminated.

Unfortunately, all I have is the PDF file for the instructions - it only goes to page 58 - Can you give me header for the topic to look under?
