First things first, the real treasure came at 9:00 pm last night with the birth of my grandson! Our first!!!:bouncy: Not much sleep last night but we managed to keep our plans to hunt an old place we had obtained permission on.

I've always left all of my positive numbers notched in and put up with a little falsing the higher end of the scale in hopes of getting a silver dollar. It paid off today at the homestead site Lisa and I hunted!

This big bronze medal blasted in at a TID of 48 at 6 inches deep. It measures around 64mm and weighs well over 4 ounces.

Settings were sens. 28, 6" HF coil, tracking on with GB running around 14.

Thanks for looking, Happy Hunting!

Mike

Congratulations on the grand son and the sweet medal. Nothing like a little one running around.

Dude that is HUGE. And the medalion is way cool too. Are you in Oregon to find a Relic from Portland?

Congrats on the Grandkid, you have to be stoked! My oldest got married last summer, but she said they are going to wait for several years for kids. I said thanks honey cause I'm way to young to be a grandpa.

Hey, we can call ya Gramps now!

I didn't think it was true but it is...You love your children but, you LOVE your grandkids. WTG.

Nope, quite a way from Oregon, we live in Utah... The town we were hunting is pretty small and goes back to the late 1800's. Makes you wonder how it travelled and how it was lost??

Gramps huh? Man at 46, that just doesn't sound right! Thanks again!
Mike

That is pretty cool!!!

Congrats on the grandson! That is great news for sure!

I would also like to say congrats on the medal also. That is a sweet find for sure, Beale.

Any way you look at it............................YOU HAD 1 GREAT DAY...My friend:clapping::clapping::clapping::clapping: TomB

Mike,

Congratulations on a find to proud of.
At 48 I probably would have kept walking, so it shows that those who dig all - sometimes scoop the pool with exceptional finds.
