I will be traveling there in Feb '08 with my Excal. From what I can tell, some of the beaches look great. Has anyone been there lately, and how are the conditions? Thanks.

I am no expert on traveling......but have heard of different electrical systems and voltages in other countries.......so if you go, make sure you find out, cause you may need some adaptors or whatever....... so you can charge your batteries......and don't drink the water.....and order drinks without ICE!.....:puke:.....Have fun!!!!!.........

I have traveled to Mexico many times with detectors. Most areas with resorts have the correct voltage, however, I bring several charged packs with me just in case. I was trying to get a handle on how rough the water was. I have my tide charts printed, I'll post how I do in 6 weeks.

As for the water, I just drink beer.

Happy New Year Sponge Don, I was in Huatulco November 25 for the day. It was very nice weather, the beaches were clean, the surf was normal You should bring some strong bug spray like Deet. People walking around with shorts and tee shirts were bitten by some kind of bug. The bites swelled up and were nasty. HH Johnnymac

Sounds good to me...........Cheers.......just don't toss the crown caps on the beach please........LOL......just another deep knee bend for us old guys!!
