I'm looking for a digital camera for macro (mostly) on detecting finds and see a lot of HP C618 2.2 mpxls on ebaY. Seems to be a good camera (I like the manual over-ride features) Anyone have a strong feeling one way or another on these? (Other than that they are now dinosaurs in storage and image quality).

I have a 25 year old + Nikon FE that is still taking all the "normal" photos I need.
