8-2-10 from Virginia and received a brand-spanking new one back today (8-12-10) complete with case. I'm very well pleased with Garrett's service department.

Certainly makes a person have a lot of confidence in the Garretts, and with confidence the finds seem to come a little better:thumbup:
I have had some detectors that worked just real fine, but I was always afraid something would break or stop working right, and the companies had very slow and expensive repair service, not a good thing to have a worrysome detector, many times I would think something was not working right and it would cost a bundle and take a month or so for repairs,= NOT SO WITH GARRETT, there's couple other brands that are good also, but for me GARRETT IS #1
 
I had the same experience with Garrett, Linwood. Apparently many have.
