Howdy ya'll, I'm lookin' for a CZ20! Newbie to this forum!

Have never posted on this forum before. Usually haunt the Excal/Sov, Water and PI forums. E-Bay had a brand new one on auction and I lost. It went for $1265. I really want a new one, but I am aware of them being discontinued. Of course if Fisher was close to reproducing a new version, I would wait patiently for that. If anyone knows who has a new one, let me know and I'll buy it. Might possibly consider a closet unit, that has not been beaten to death, by some pirate. I am a pirate and just though a CZ20 would fit well in my arsenal. Used and endorsed by my pirate friend, Gold Ringer.

Parts are a problem on used CZ20 and not sure if they are even made by Fisher anymore( on the good side if CZ-20 is no more would feel Fisher would come out with a new version to handle salt and fresh water as the 1280X basically a fresh water unit is still available..

OK, campers here's the deal. I am the newest member of the Fisher Family! I have never owned a Fisher before, but persistence pays! I was able to procure a brand new CZ20-10! Supposedly Fisher located 4 new units in their warehouse and farmed them out to their best dealers. Metal Detector.com had one and I paid dearly for it! $1265.95, no tax or shipping. It's on the way. The reputation of the CZ20, simply merits more of my attention.
Before I ordered the unit, I called Fisher about the release of the new revised edition of the CZ20. Was told there are prototypes in the field now and naturally I offered my services, but was not invited to participate. Also asked about the details on the unit and of course, was shot down there. Asked about a release date and it is not expected until next year sometime, so my decision was made right then (after securing the blessing from Huntress of course). The unit should be in my hands in 5 days! I can't wait!
