Finds Treasure forum rocks and I totally enjoy the info goatherd here and in no way is this a complaint, but I have a suggestion for the forum. Would it be possible to have a categorized list of common questions and tips for the newbies to refer to before they post an all new question that has been answered over and over? for example, and this is just a very small suggestion of categories:

Small coil advice and tests
battery and ever thing related
care repair and maintenance
shovels probes and digging equip
screen and rain protectors
TTF and how to best use it

.... the categories ( and lots of them) ought to be the main common items discussed over and over and over BUT ought to be the gathered consensus from previous posts and explained by some of the best users posters here on the site. These tips should be left just as one article standing on its own and if folks still want to ask then they can come to the regular forum.

At the top of each POST BOARD a large note should say "STOP before you start a new post please look through the categorized list of tips for an answer to your questions".

I have used the search tool many times but it seems that folks don't trust or think that the information is old or something as the same questions asked over and over start to get old and the best users have answered them time and time again.

Just a thought...but I think it would be a great feature and improve the forum in a great way. IT could be added slowly over time. best of luck.
