hello k5, i'm glad you decided to stop lurking and get involved in the forum! welcome to a great hobby and web site. congrats on the new detector, it will soon be sniffin' out the good stuff. any questions, just ask; all kinds of good and talented people on here willing to help you. hh,

Thanks everyone.
Just assembled it and skimmed the manual...gonna be a learning curve for sure.

Probably be a while before I can go out and really play, but I'll sure check in as things progress.

Welcome K5, you've come to the right forum for helpful tips and information. You're going to really like your TR, it is a deep seeking, accurate ID machine. I've had mine about 3 months and it gets better every time I go out. If you have any questions about it's operation just ask, there are a few of us on here with the same machine and we had to learn it too. I've detected almost 30 years, real serious the past 5, still learn something new almost every time I go out. Feel free to ask the forum or if you prefer, private message and we'll all do all we can to get you up and going. Enjoy the Hunt!

Hi, I'm new too. I had my first time out last week. It was great. I found a lot of trash, nails ,bolts and a dope pipe. Can't wate to get out again.
