GOTO THE REGISTER OF DEEDS IN YOUR COUNTY, the duty of this officer is to keep a record of all transfers of real estate in the county. IF YOU WANT TO KNOW TO WHOM A CERTAIN TRACT OF LAND BELONGS, OR IF THEAR IS A MORTGAGE UPON IT , YOU WILL NATURALLY INQUIRE AT HIS OFFICE i have done this and got permission to dig the old commercial hotel lot and have found three tokens one of which was from the commercial hotel and very old , two merc dimes and a awsome 1906 V nickle its beter to get permission i donated one of the tokens to the isainti county historical cociaty because untill now no one knows of a token from this hotel and i figure its the peoples history and should be shared not kept to myself and that should be owr goal to share and preserv history when we can Good hunting to you all Gunnar
