How would you grade Garrett's quality and customer service?

What grade would you all give Garrett for quality and customer service.
I'm about 80% sure I'll be selling my MXT Pro to get a AT Pro (just a better choice for my needs I think). My only holdup is that I've had Minelabs, Fishers and Whites detectors and Whites was the only one that not only didn't give BS and grief when I needed service but went above and beyond to keep me happy.

Thanks
Joe

Garrett is the best, no contest. Ron Burton

I discovered that a chunk of epoxy got knocked off my coil (I try to be gentle, but this is where rocks come from  ). Two days later, I received a new one with a return tag for the other (so I had no down time, just couldn't dunk the chipped one or it went bonkers). Thanks, Myra!

They are the best!!!!

5-Stars on a scale of 4...there are plenty of past posts you can research for dozens if not hundreds of testimonials.

They've sure been nice to me on both customer service and fast turn around. The build quality is very good.

I broke my first Garrett Pro-pointer trying to clean it (don't ask how) .... Sent it to Garrett with my sob story, and I had a brand new Pro-pointer in my mailbox a week later. Hard to beat that ..

How?

Ok, well I had to think about it because it was two years ago. I was cleaning the dried dirt off of it, and I noticed that there was a piece of something rattling around inside the pointer. So being highly intelligent like I thought I was, I took out the battery and removed the one phillips head screw. Thinking that I could then pull that part out and see what was loose in there. Well ... the on/off switch inside disconnected from everything else as I pulled. So I then had a non-working pro-pointer with more rattling parts inside ..

I bought a used AT Pro, and the first time I took it in the water it leaked. I called Garrett and they told me to send it in. About a week later I had my machine back, no charge.

I was just messin' with you, McDave :beers:
Given enough time, I can break just about anything. With the amount of wear and tear metal detectors get, it really means a lot to have a company like :garrett: standing behind it.

EXCELLENT I own my 3rd garrett and have made 3 trips to the garrett factory. They even gave me a tour of the factory. I broke my first detector and took it in and they fixed it and sent me on my way. They will even take trade ins on your old garrett machines and give you 30 persent on a new machine . of course this is 30 off factory price.

In Europe, unfortunately, the thing is different... not satisfied, sorry :(
