How would know when their is a nor easter?

How would know? Obviously I am a beginner. Do you look at your weather software or TV and then see the wind blowing in a NE direction or does it go in that direction and then have to blow a certain speed?

over every coastal road, washing houses, and buildings into the Atlantic. Thus causing errosion, pulling hundreds of yards of sand off the beaches, letting you detect beach area's that haven't been uncovered in years! Of course this isn't fun for the property owners...
 
To find a Good North Easter on the East Coast. Don't look for anyone on this Board during that time. Been there and done that for 3 days straight.
