How would a Cibola compare to a Silver uMax in depth?

I have hunted with a Silver for almost a year, and love it. Can't believe how good this inexpensive little unit performs. I've found some great CW relics with it. I now own a Cibola, but would like a comparison of overall advantages from somebody who knows. Any input would be appreciated.
 
how it works for you!

The Cibola, allowing that both models have a good functional GB setting, ought to get you a little better depth in average ground, and in pea gravel and/or very mineralized ground the Cibola should work when the Silver
 
Thanks, Monte. Truth is, I haven't hunted with the Cib, yet. It's new. I was just wondering what to expect in terms of difference. I WILL let you know whenever the cement-like drought-baked earth can be penetrated with an Army shovel...
 
Thanks. Ican't wait until we get enough rain to soften up the ground enough to stick a shovel in. Our National weather pattern has really changed. It's so dry on the east coast that you can't even dig in the woods. And look at the west coast. Anyway, you all have given me something to look foward to. I have a Minelab Explorer that has taken a "back seat" to my Silver, as of last year. I've made some good finds with Silver. Cib is waiting......
 
Only if the coil passes over targets you might have missed with the other machine. Otherwise it would still be hunted out. :)
