Hey THers, <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)">
I finally got the 1500 on the way. <img src="/metal/html/biggrin.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":D"> <img src="/metal/html/clap.gif" border=0 width=20 height=30 alt=":clap"> It shipped today.
I have been doing a lot of research on the Green Mowsheen, but I still feel like I am in kindergarten. I really think it is going to be one fine D Tec. I know I have a lot to learn, but that is some of the fun, the challenge. (ignorant me against a computer)
I was just wondering if anyone knew how the imaging would react to two quarters at about 4" deep say 2" apart. Will the imaging indicate that it is a coin size object, or pick up both quarters (cuz they are close) and say larger than a coin? I know that there is a bazillion other factors that can change the situation like one quarter lying vertical, etc., but in general since we don't have any dissimilar metals, approximately how far apart will the coil separate or consolidate the quarter/quarters?
Thanks a Treasure Heap <IMG SRC="/metal/html/garrett.gif" BORDER=0 width=33 height=15 ALT="g~">

To me, the best way is to learn, is use Zero disc and dig some a size,b size, c size d size and e size targets, just to see what they are. I dug a c size target and it was 2 pennys side by side. one a size target was a beaver tail off of a pull tab. No detector made is 100 % right on every target every time, they have not made it yet. Go out and have fun. HH..BJ

Go out and have fun and dig a lot to familarize yourself with the new toy..Indeed no machine is perfect and the secret of imaging is to center the coil for accurate imaging. To me a strong aspect of imaging it will tell you if its real large( soda can etc) and cut down your digging. I dug a hole which had the imaging a (B) target but it produced two quarters, 2 dimes, 1 nickel and one penny and the meter facets jumped to all of them. I imagine all cases differ but indeed imaging makes you dig less and get more once you get the knack of it..
