Started out as an idea, and worked. A simple, yet effective way of winterizing, and protecting your investment.

"A DUCK TAPE DETECTOR COVER"

DONE2-4.jpg

Almost done.....as I bought some camo duck tape and want to make it look nice. The plans are done in a pictorial fashion to make it easy for all. :)

Now I just insert a couple of hot pacs into the duck tape cover and my batteries and digital screen should perform well for hours. ;)

You better install fresh batteries 1st! CAuse the 1st time the batteries are replaced this duct-tape will have to be torned up in order to get to the battery compartment! Now if you can figure out a good way to access the batteries without tearing up this weatherized set-up, then that would be great!.........................................Merry Holidays..................Joe

Try an Ace Bandage (lol.....no pun intended), or if you have a Tractor Supply, Farm & Fleet, Big Blue, etc nearby, they carry a roll of legwrapping for horses similar to the ace bandage, but it clings to itsself. Easy on & off, reuseable, and no residue left. About $2 a roll, and 1 roll would be more than enough.

Red Green will steel your idea.

Some how, if it ends up on tape, it will not go well. lol
