In messing around while on my first out of the yard hunt, I did something and my CTX3030 went kinda nuts. I was attempting to adjust my threshold volume when a guy walked up to talk to me, I hit something, could not get back to that specific menu. The unit is noisy, chirping, jumping numbers on the detector screen etc... I shut it down, turn it back on and it was still doing it. I just shut it down, put it in the truck and pulled out my AT Pro.... ended up finding a 1917d wheat and a 1940 merc, in the same hole! Sure want to get the CTX back to normal tomorrow morning. Thanks for any assistance.

How to return to factory setting?

You may have accidentally hit the detect button which would have moved your existing program to an open screen. This would cause more noise. If this is not the case turn the machine on and hold the power button down until the factory reset message appears which should not take long. Minelabs customer care number is 1-877-767-6522.
