How to remove the control housing? (Tejon)

x99

New member
I would like to remove the control housing and place it on a Deus rod (just to see what it's like). The problem is the trigger, I don't know how to remove it safely without doing any damage. I found this picture:

Picture from: http://jb-ms.com/Ralph

There is a screw on top, but after removing it, it still want come out. There are also cables from the battery box. Do you guys have any idea, where I should begin? Are there other pictures showing how its done? Maybe some advice?

I know, I should probably don't touch anything :D, but I am very curious.

Oops double posted, sorry.

You have to unsrew the hex nut on the trigger switch.

Thanks I did it to, but nothing changed. It is loose, but it won't come out (not through the hole from the top, or the other way). The cables are also "shorter", I will not pull them out like in this picture because something could go wrong. I think I give up, before something breaks. ;) I also noticed that out off 3, only the 13" Detech coil will fit on the deus.

Thank you anyway.

Giving up is probably the smart thing. Unless you are efficient in electronic soldering. The wires from the battery box to the control head would probably have to be unsoldered and the resoldered back. good luck in whatever you do.
