How to remove camlocks from the T2 ???

Mega

New member
This may appears like a stupid question, but i have just bought a better clamping system for the T2 instead of the bottom cam lock which was a big problem on the early models, but i cannot fathom out how to remove the camlock i would like to keep it rather than break it and keep it as a spare but how do you remove them please.

Thanks

On the whites model, I use a hack saw to cut off the cam lock. then use sand paper to smooth it out.

Then install the plugger's clamp, tighten it down with a screw driver driver. I'm sure this will void the warranty. good luck

@Rob in (Ca) thanks for your reply that is exactly why i require to take the camlock off so that i can fit the plugger's clamp, they are a fantastic piece of kit but taking off the old camlocks is the hard part and the new clamps is very easy.At the meoment i have just slung them in my detector box as spares.

Thanks again for your help.
