How To Quite Your Machine Around Explorers Or Etracs

A friend has been using his Etrac around me more lately and here's a nifty trick to not have them cause interference with each other...I always keep my GT in noise band 2 so the ID chart matches better to old Sovereigns. Fire up your Sovereign first and then, with your friend within 5 feet of you, have him fire up and do a noise cancel. His machine will automaticly pick channels then that the Sovereign isn't on and the interference will go away. Well, they might still interfear at less than 5 feet away so come to think of it I always stand about 10 feet away when we do this. They are dead quiet at that distance after doing this but if we get about 5 feet away I still get some. If you don't do this I've found we can be much further away and still be picking up noise from each other. I think about 10 feet when doing the noise cancel is key.
