HOW to make set a CUSTOM PROGRAM ???

Hi again,
Need a little help on this.
I wrote down a copy of "Magics" program from this forum. I would like to program it into my V3i.

My questions are.
Do I adjust another program to fit those settings I want, and save it ? If so which program do you suggest to change.
OR Can I create a whole new program and save it in addition to my existing programs ? If so HOW?

Also, should "Magics" program only be used for hunted out areas? Is it too much for high trash or new spots? OR is it just a good deep program overall?

Magic and I use a similar program and we started with Coin and jewelery.As far as being to hot for certain ground, that has not a lot to do with the program as much as the guy setting it up for there ground and situation. The biggest adjustments are the gain the ,the all metal and discrimination. After that comes coil size and type,DD or concentric. Hope this be what you were asking. H.H. Yazoo

Yep, after making changes, rename it. Don't use one of the factory names. Now reinstall C/J from the library and you have both programs. Rob
