I just called Garret and was told they don't know when the adaptor will be out, Mabey next month. Can anyone post a how to or better yet is anyone willing to make one?

just go to radio shack and get a inline stereo jack Catalog #: 274-141

take you land phone's and cut off the specialty water plug leave enough cable slack to remote mount it if you like.....

strip the outer covering back and there is just 2 wires in use black and white the red is dead....

solder the black wire to the stereo jack lug and the white wire to the tip lug....

then you are ready to go...

I ragged on Garrett when the falsing issue was at it's height. Then I felt bad because they did a fine job in my opinion by making things right. And now I must say that I think they dropped the ball by not getting this adapter out. I have been waiting also. Watch them come out with a brand new model and say that is where they were spending their time. Then I'll feel bad again.
