I had an experiance when doing some customizing on a digger and found that the hand grip I used(soft-rubber grip) when used had a real tacky feel. Kinda like it wanted to stick to your hand( kinda like a well worn steering wheel cover)I put the hard rubber grip back on.Good luck with yours
